Magna Plaza The former main post office in Amsterdam, just behind the dam. A gigantic building with beautiful architecture. Even if you do not come there for shopping that's about it to see the neo-styles. The architectural style that has been applied by Cornelis Hendrink Peters, around 1895-1899.Overal where you look around you see stone with pear-shaped towers, the building is popularly known as the 'Pears Burg.

After a major renovation project by architect Hans Ruijssenaars Magna Plaza opened its doors in 1992. But the building had a major renovation over. From outside there was little going on, there was only cleaned, repaired and restored here and there.
