Open air takes place every year in the Gaasperpark in Amsterdam. Usually in the month of June, again this year the festival takes place on 2 and 3 June. All the ingredients for a fun festival are present, sun, tents, drinks, food and of course a great line-up.
If you get there early you takes an early bird ticket 65.50 euros for two nice days, you're a bit later than you are 79.50 euros lost.
Open Air festival-goers
All well and good but what people can find you on Open Air? Actually of all, the audience is diverse but mainly a lot of men who love a visit to the gym and decked with big tattoos. Women are generally especially hip and bare dressed.
An ice cream while sitting on a bench, is a good time to consider whether to admire these people. Besides eating ice cream, there are numerous other eateries where you can marvel at you. From fries to vegetarian gyros or even an organic smoothie everything you can find.
Last year was very warm open air causing a lack of water had entered, a small tip at the Open Air Festival goers this year; once you start thinking in terms, like buy a few bottles of water.
Music Amsterdam Open Air
For a different audience, there is a range of different musical styles. From the cozy marquee music known in the pubs on the Leidseplein. But also delicious house as we are used Apekooi.
The 'Chill Island' is all Ibiza; sun, drink and tasty rocking hips. Even Dutch hip-hop, reggae and Latin can be heard here at Open Air.
And how big is Open Air? Open Air started as a small-scale festival but has grown into a full festival, which you can measure with PinkPop like big. In addition, the Open Air site is a great nature park so you can relax with your feet in the water.
